To use the programming cable, follow these steps: 1. Open the "Device Manager" and select the appropriate port (COM & LPT). 2. Download the programming software: a. Install the software by clicking the "Continue" button. b. Locate and open the "Program Software" on your Windows or computer desktop. 3. Click the "Communication" button and confirm. 4. Click the "Programming-Read" button to read the radio's parameters. 5. Modify or adjust the radio's settings, such as channel, band, frequency, etc., as needed. 6. Click "Write" to save the changes.

The programming process is straightforward and easy to follow. Before starting, ensure your computer system meets the requirements, which include Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11. The CHIRP programming software supports Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11, as well as macOS and Linux.
