Baofeng USB Programming Cable for Handheld Ham Radio

These cables use the PL2303 chip, which is driver-free and supports the CHIRP programming software. They work with Windows systems, including Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, and 11.

The programming process is straightforward: 1. Open the Device Manager and identify the COM port. 2. Download the programming software. a. Install the software by clicking "Continue." b. Find and open the program on your Windows desktop. 3. Click the "Communication" button to confirm the settings. 4. Click the "Programming-Read" button to read the radio's parameters. 5. Modify the settings as needed (channels, bands, frequencies, etc.). 6. Click "Write" to program the radio.

Before programming, ensure your computer meets the system requirements. The programming software is compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11, as well as Mac OS and Linux when using CHIRP.

The PL2303 USB programming cables are only suitable for Windows systems. You will need to find and install the corresponding driver for your system.
